Season: The lodge is open year-round. Late February through early May is the harvest season, with music and harvest festivals in February and March. Late September through November is springtime in the valleys. December through March is the main summer season. Fall colors are brilliant from mid-April to the end of May. Prime ski season is July through September in the high mountain resorts of Las Lenas, Penitentes, and Portillo, with moderate winter weather in the valleys, towns, and cities. You can book accommodations only (includes breakfast and IVA taxes), accommodations with full board (breakfast, lunch, dinner, wine and IVA taxes), or complete vacation packages. Location: 10 minutes west of the town of Tunuyan; 90 kilometers from Mendoza City; 75 minutes from the international airport; 3 hours from Las Lenas Ski Resort; in the heart of prime wine country. Deposit: 50% of the total trip price is due within 10 days after reservations have been confirmed. Final full payment is due 30 days prior to your arrival date. Rates subject to change based on exchange rates currently in effect. Any fluctuation will be reflected in the final invoice. Detailed pre-trip information, including a final descriptive itinerary, will be sent to you after we receive your trip deposit. Method of payment--In the U.S.; personal check or major credit card. At the lodge; cash, Visa or MasterCard.
Cancellation Policy: Lodge bookings only--more than 30 days prior to arrival date; full refund. 10 to 30 days prior to arrival date; 50% of amount paid as cancellation fee. 9 days or less prior to arrival date; no refunds. Complete vacation packages--More than 60 days prior to arrival date; refund of deposit less a $200 USD per person administrative fee. 60 to 30 days prior to arrival date; refund of 50% of the total trip payment you have made. Less than 30 days prior to arrival date; no refunds. Trip Cancellation Insurance: We highly recommend the purchase of trip cancellation insurance. You can purchase this insurance directly from Travelex Insurance. Their web site is Travelex-Insurance. They can also answer any questions you have about their insurance packages and rates.
Passport and Visas: A valid passport is required for travel to Argentina and Chile. Travel to Brazil requires a visa with valid passport.
