Postales del Plata FAQ
Questions People Often Ask Us
1) Can I just book accommodations only at Chacras de Coria Lodge or Valle de Uco Lodge? Yes, you can book accommodations only and this includes breakfast. You can also book accommodations only with full board (breakfast, lunch, dinner, wine).
2) If I already have made my own arrangements for accommodations in Mendoza, can I just book wine tours and tastings, or other activities with Postales del Plata? Yes, you can book half day or full day wine country excursions and tastings with our private hosts. You can also book individual activities like cooking classes, horseback riding, or tango lessons.
3) Can Postales del Plata book Mendoza accommodations for me at other hotels or lodges like the Park Hyatt, Park Suites, El Portal Suites, Reina Victoria, Hotel Argentino, Finca Aldagisa, Club Tapiz, Cavas Wine Lodge, or Posada Salentein? Yes, we work with all the top hotels and lodges and are happy to book your reservations wherever you choose. We can combine these arrangements with our all-inclusive vacation packages, or just arrange accommodations and then you choose activities as you go. Exact pricing depends on season and exchange rate at the time of your booking.
4) What are the price ranges for Postales del Plata all-inclusive wine country excursions? We offer a wide range of pricing options to suit most budget requirements. All excursions include a private host and vehicle. In general, traveling to Valle de Uco is more expensive than staying in the Maipu and Lujan areas because of the cost of the transfers. Private vertical tastings are more expensive than standard line tastings. Accommodation and meal options chosen are the two areas where expenses can be reduced, or increased, the most. Packages in Chile are more expensive because the Chilean currency is on par with the US dollar. Packages in Buenos Aires are more expensive because most hotels and providers charge in US dollars, not in Argentine pesos. Let us know your budget requirements and we will plan an itinerary to suit you.
5) Can Postales del Plata arrange transfers, hotels, and activities in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Santiago, Chile. Yes, we have an office and staff in Buenos Aires to take care of all your needs, and we work in partnership with two of the best hospitality companies in Santiago to provide the same services.
6) Can Postales del Plata arrange fly-fishing trips in Argentina to combine with Mendoza wine country excursions? Yes, we work with the top fly-fishing lodges in Argentina, and can put together a seamless vacation package personalized to your needs.
